Producer delegate enhancement launching March 31 on the MMSD Portal 

We are excited to announce that beginning March 31, producers will have the ability to delegate MMSD Portal access to individuals on their behalf!

 

Where to start

A banner promoting the ability to add new delegates is on the MMSD Portal home page when a producer logs in. From here, they can access the Take a quick tour button for info on how to add a delegate.

Key points
  • Producer delegate is for independent producers only; institutional producers do not have MMSD Portal access.
     
  • Producers can grant access for up to five delegates.
     
  • The producer is responsible for allowing and terminating delegate access.
     
  • Delegates will only have access to the tools and information available to the producer who designated them.
     
  • Delegates will not see compensation information. Review the complete list of available resources on the MMSD Portal. 
     
  • If an individual previously had case manager or back office access for a BGA and are assigned as a delegate by a producer, they can continue to use their existing log in to access delegate functionality.  
     
  • If a person has delegate access for multiple producers, they will view all related producer information in a single screen. For instance, opening the book of business displays details for every assigned producer together.
     
  • Please allow five-day turnaround time for the request.
